Dynalist vs WorkFlowy opinions
Takes what WorkFlowy started and made it more useful and powerful. It's better! It offers the same basic experience of nested lists but also allows to insert images, dates, internal links and more. It is under active development. Less purist but more feature-rich than Workflowy.LordMax It's really better than workflowy and it works in markdown. It's just expensive for the pro versionIt just is compatible the OPML export made by WorkFlowy. What else can be required?tedcurran Same unique "folding" organization scheme, but with better pricing and features. Not the same as just a text editor or productivity tool! You can create separate documentsDynalist is what WorkFlowy would be like if they continued to improve it! The best part of WorkFlowy is the zoomable nested lists, but Dynalist adds tons of extra features, including checklists and image/attachment support. So glad I found Dynalist after feeling somewhat limited by WorkFlowy. - With so many tools, it's hard to keep everyone on the same page. Notion is a new tool that unifies them all.

Trello vs WorkFlowy opinions
WorkFlowy is a hierarchical with many inner levels all-in-one document and gives possibilities of a rapid overview/navigate in general and on every task/node in particular. Trello, otherwise, "hides" different tasks in different cards and, imho, it is heavier way to browse between tasks and see problems/issues in common.Trello is a Kanban to do list app, and WorkFlowy is a plain text to do appTrello is *not* an alternative to WorkFlowy. Although WorkFlowy could be used as a task manager, it is fundamentally an infinite-depth outliner that could be used for, say, longer-form writing. Trello is *not* an outliner. It’s a task manager with a Kanban-style card layout. - CryptPad is a private-by-design alternative to popular office tools and cloud services.
