really remarkable achievement. needs more contributors to its development, but it's already in a place where it's nicer to use than anything else - just don't expect a bug-free experience just yet.

Comment summary: Users appreciate Super Productivity for its simplicity, feature richness, and open-source nature. It supports integration, multi-platform compatibility, and is not overloaded with unnecessary features. However, there's a minor issue with Webdav support and a desire for an API for ActivityWatch integration. Many express gratitude for its free availability, though a few mention its interface could improve.

Simple yet feature-rich, works both as a desktop app and in your browser! You have full control over your data :)

I made an account with AlternativeTo just to give Super Productivity five stars. As an open source app, it's completely free and will remain as such. But it offers a very impressive set of features compared to alternatives that are run by huge startups and charge their customers. I love especially that it's got a timer feature that I can use to track my tasks.

I'm a freelancer and higher education professional, and I've been using Super Prod to manage my various projects. It works very smoothly between my Android and Mac.

In addition, the developer at GitHub is very active and responds to feature requests. I'm very happy to chip in a small amount each month to keep the project going.

It's already great and keeps getting better every day. It could definitely do with implementing an API so that it could be made to talk with ActivityWatch, but that's me wanting to make my life easier so that I don't have to analyse my working data in two places.

Personal task management approaching my vision of the ideal application. Recurring tasks, scheduling tasks over time, daily schedule, timekeeping, statistics, multiple ways to sync between multiple devices. Categorization of tasks into projects and by tags. Tracking and reminding breaks, pomodoro. Desktop and mobile app.

Awesome and everyone loves it yet only 15 of us support the developer on GitHub where you can donate as little as $3 a month, the cost of what any of the competitors would cost you at a minimum. SMH, this is why we can’t have nice things.

What is Super Productivity?

This is a ToDo List / Time Tracker / Personal Jira Task Manager for Linux, MacOS and Windows to make you work super productively.

  • Plan, track & summarize. Create time sheets and work summaries in a breeze to easily export them to your companies time tracking system.

  • Integrate with Jira, Github and Gitlab. Auto import tasks assigned to you, plan the details locally, automatically create worklogs and get notified right away, when something changes.

  • Organize your project's data. Create notes, attach files or create bookmarks for links, files and even commands and have it all out of the way, once you're ready for the weekend.

  • Helps you to establish healthy habits. A break timer reminds to you, when it's time to step away. You also can collect personal metrics for yourself to see, which of your work routines need adjustments.

  • Stuck and procrastinating? No problem! Super Productivity's anti procrastination feature helps you to reconsider your options and a pomodoro timer is also always at hand.

  • Super Productivity does NOT collect any data and there are no user accounts or registration. It's free and open source and always will be.
