really remarkable achievement. needs more contributors to its development, but it's already in a place where it's nicer to use than anything else - just don't expect a bug-free experience just yet.

Simple yet feature-rich, works both as a desktop app and in your browser! You have full control over your data :)

I made an account with AlternativeTo just to give Super Productivity five stars. As an open source app, it's completely free and will remain as such. But it offers a very impressive set of features compared to alternatives that are run by huge startups and charge their customers. I love especially that it's got a timer feature that I can use to track my tasks.
I'm a freelancer and higher education professional, and I've been using Super Prod to manage my various projects. It works very smoothly between my Android and Mac.
In addition, the developer at GitHub is very active and responds to feature requests. I'm very happy to chip in a small amount each month to keep the project going.
It's already great and keeps getting better every day. It could definitely do with implementing an API so that it could be made to talk with ActivityWatch, but that's me wanting to make my life easier so that I don't have to analyse my working data in two places.
Personal task management approaching my vision of the ideal application. Recurring tasks, scheduling tasks over time, daily schedule, timekeeping, statistics, multiple ways to sync between multiple devices. Categorization of tasks into projects and by tags. Tracking and reminding breaks, pomodoro. Desktop and mobile app.
I dont like the UI

Awesome and everyone loves it yet only 15 of us support the developer on GitHub where you can donate as little as $3 a month, the cost of what any of the competitors would cost you at a minimum. SMH, this is why we can’t have nice things.
