TickTick is a simple and effective to-do list and task manager app which helps you make schedule, manage time, remind about deadlines and organize life at home, work and everywhere else.
TickTick vs Todoist opinions
JohnFastmanTickTick looks like a ToDoIst knock-off, they have a very vague privacy policy, the parent company is based in Hong Kong, no replies to emails about how they store user data, how long it would take to delete if I cancelled or how they handle credit card info. I wouldn't trust them with any private information.
rodrigoccurvoMinimalist design, feature-rich but simple to use.

Workflowy lets you organise your brain into easily manageable lists. It also works as a single-pane outliner with inline notes. It offers one-click hoisting (zooming into branches). The online version syncs with mobile apps.
WorkFlowy vs Todoist opinions
JohnFastmanWorkflowy is a good alternative to ToDoIst in that it's more flexible for making hierarchical notes and lists. It's a bad alternative in the sense that it has no parsing or calendaring features. "Meet Jim on Monday" remains as text and is not parsed as a new task scheduled for Monday.
This is a ToDo List / Time Tracker / Personal Jira Task Manager for Linux, MacOS and Windows to make you work super productively.
Org-mode is for keeping notes, maintaining ToDo lists, doing project planning, and authoring with a fast and effective plain-text system.

Remember The Milk vs Todoist opinions
jensenw2One of the best sets of features in a task listing app.
sondrakRememberTheMilk and Todoist have very similar feature sets. I'm a diehard RememberTheMilk fan myself, though. I can type a new task and all its metadata very fast with only the keyboard. Between not needing the mouse and RememberTheMilk's fast interface, I spend very little time messing with my software and more time getting work done.
