What is HelixNotes?
HelixNotes is a local markdown note-taking app built with Rust, Tauri 2.0, and SvelteKit. Your notes are standard .md files on your filesystem - sync with whatever you want or nothing at all.
Features: rich markdown editor with formatting toolbar and slash commands, full-text search powered by Tantivy, graph view for visualizing note connections via wiki-links, AI writing tools (bring your own Anthropic or OpenAI key), per-note version history with diff view, dark/light themes with 8 accent colors, and more.
Available for Linux (AppImage, APT, AUR), Windows, and macOS. Open source, AGPL-3.0.

It's the best note taking app that I've found after years ! Use Syncthing and that is it : Future proof cross-platform note taking ! And it's beautiful ! Go out of Joplin !
