Wekan vs Trello opinions
It is open-source, you can self-host it (that is made even easier using sandstorm.io) and it protects your privacy.
MawokaIt looks great and works also great, but it eats many ressources

Taiga is the easy and intuitive yet powerful agile project management tool for multi-functional teams. Taiga has a best in class Sprint task board, and you can seamlessly migrate to Kanban if needed.
Taiga.io vs Trello opinions
SuperBrainMore options, less restrictions, more control
it is the best of the open source options, which is all i really care about these days. it is not strictly kanboard like trello, as it has other features as well. however, it does have a very nice kanboard feature set comparable to trello.
there are one other open source trello alternatives which are strictly kanboard, like wekan. however, none of them match up the ui and ux experience of taiga.io
Taiga is not comparable to Trello. Restyaboard and Wekan are the real alternatives to the Trello.
dspjmIt has functionality of kanban. It has another version of project of scrum. They are independent, so you can't have them together. I think it's worse than trello. In terms of Kanban, it has much less features.
Trello is much easier to handle

Follow your data through its entire lifecycle. From fluid brainstorming and research, through to a structured system for collaborative use, Zenkit is the flexible workspace you can use to organize anything.
Zenkit vs Trello opinions
VladimirKazakovAlmost better then trello - beauty and fast. Have additional filters and views
Zenkit is packed full of features, even on it's free plan
LenaDotzlerGood to manage projects in a team, if several members are working on different things and simple using
padszaboZenkit is a really strong, but simple tool to manage project work in a team. It's built in a way, that makes it easily usable and understandable, even if you are using it for the first time. We are using Zenkit to coordinate our efforts in a small team - and it makes it very easy, to assign tasks, lets you easily keep track of the progress made and never lose sight of what tasks are still open. Definately recommended !
JuliaBbIt is very simple in use and has many practical features.
JohannesOstnermodern design, customizing of task lists to fit your needs, nice (over)views for your tasks
ChristianBrunnerApp workes great on the smartphone. No difference to desktop version

Whether you’re between meetings or in line for a latte, use Asana to quickly capture tasks, to-dos, reminders, and ideas. Get updates from coworkers, organize tasks and projects for work, or manage your to-do list for the day.
Asana vs Trello opinions
It splits the task view and selected task's summary view so that they are both visible at the same time. One less click to see the information you need.
vetu11Asana it's much more powerfull than Trello. It has a ton more features and makes working in multiple projects easier.
peshogeshoTrello is simple and asana is too complicated
trefoil004It's more orderly and it does exactly what it says it would.
joshbarrettTrello is easier to use but Asana has a ton of fancy features - a full-fledged project manager.

With so many tools, it's hard to keep everyone on the same page. Notion is a new tool that unifies them all.
Notion vs Trello opinions
KorwinFull free for personal use.
choomaqueIt's more of a note taking app, with great text editing capabilities. Productivity templates, such as kanban board and timeline has limited functionality.
Dmitrawhiteboard is of the same feature set but table, rich text editor and much more to it

Open source Trello-like kanban board. Based on Restya platform.
Restyaboard vs Trello opinions
Open source. Perhaps the only real alternative for Trello in this segment. They have nice comparison page against Trello http://restya.com/board/comparison
kribbremathStill in active development, has a lot of installation options, but have no packaged version for most common Linux systems, like Debian or Debian-based distros (Ubuntu), RedHat/Centos or derived distros. I mean It's not boxed yet, installation with shell script is really ugly now, in 21th century.
Default color scheme is pink and in version I installed it's real pain to modify it to something more comfortable and convinient.
GitLab is a on-premise or hosted Git repository management tool. It also includes code reviews, issue tracking, wikis, and continuous integration.
GitLab vs Trello opinions
possumGitLab is a code repository system, Trello is a platform for visualizing data in a Kanban view. They are nothing alike.

An award-winning cloud-based Project Management software aims to help collaborative teams organize and manage from small enterprise projects to large-scale initiatives.
Quire vs Trello opinions
johnduffieldProvides an alternative way to organise and view tasks and activities. The hierarchical lists, ease of assignment and tagging provide a nice way to slice work and information a different way. Task based lists can be easier when working with client areas who understand task driven activity easier then story based. The tree structure allows for a more logical break down.
amber2021Easier to use, provides agile features, cheaper
at7568Easy-to-use. A software that provides all the features you need.
jamesschles11Free and has agile features like Kanban board, gantt chart, reminders, easy collaboration, priorities, reminders.
dspjmThis is so powerful. It combines task lists and kanban. Though not strictly a congruent substitute for Trello. It might even be better for some people.
jellopopcornTrello lacks a place to dump all the ideas and organize them later. what I mean is like a task list view. Quire(https://quire.io) has a task list view. my team and I can dump all our ideas and tasks in the list and later on move the crucial ones to board view for execution. Yep, that's right! Quire has Kanban board too! which is awesome and a win win situation! I really recommend Quire to the small creative teams out there, it can really improve the productivity!

Kanboard is a free and open source Kanban project management software.
Kanboard vs Trello opinions
gholemSame functionality, a simpler interface (debatable), but open source and without complex requirements.
Open source, but no Ajax or any similarities with Trello. I'd rather prefer Wekan or Restyaboard
alexkowelKanboard is free, easy to install and easy to use. Really good alternative.
