JIRA is good but not for every kind of team

JIRA is very complex system and unless you have serious development work with multiple Agile teams, it may be too much for you to handle.

I agree. We are using ZebraPlan as alternative to Jira. It is lightweight and great for our team size. I recommend it.

I agree, if you're looking for something simpler, try Ciro . It's also lightweight and lightning fast, with a well-designed UI that's really easy to use.

Jira has a lot of features and it is a huge system. I think it is tailored more to teams large number of users with special needs and diverse options between projects.

Please check this for an alternative that is easier to use and cover most of needed features.

I much prefer Ciro to to JIRA. It's lightweight and fast, and doesn't get in my way. I really like how it tracks notifications, so you know that when you comment on a task, or mention another user, they will see it and it won't get lost. They're continuing to build features, so eventually it will eclipse JIRA in terms of features.

Ciro: Agile task management for everyone
