Redmine is THE BEST bug tracker and project management tool out there. I have tried a dozen open source and commercial alternatives and Redmine is the best, by far.
For a long time I was hesitant to install and try this because my lack of Ruby knowledge. For the first time I decided to learn the basics and install it in my server and Im not going back.
Try the live demo from the website and see for yourself.
We use it for almost 6 years, and we are very happy using redmine.
We use it for issue tracking and project management.
We use it for daily bug tracking and project management. Clean and easy to use.
I wouldn't call it easy to use. It's based on ruby, so installation process is quite complicated and official guides omits lots of important steps, yet still overloaded, difficult to read. Though it's not as bad as trac's installation nightmare.

Setting up the host server and configuring Redmine for your own needs can take some time, but the software is fully customizable and once set up it ran without a hitch.
