Tutanota Features
Tutanota vs Gmail opinions
RemovedUserI've tried some encrypted emails to replace Gmail, it turned out that Tutanota is perfect. All services accepted it without any problems, all messages arrived fast and the free plan gives 1GB of space. Also, the paid plans are generous and cheap.
8justinterestedTutanota is a great email provider with very good encryption (it uses end-to-end encryption like Signal – i.e. they cannot read your emails/gife them to the government, Gmail can!) and they don't sell any data. It is also very easy to use, it has a very nice app, a desktop client and a web client. There is really no reason why you wouldn't want to use it :)
8bybboReplaced successfully G.Calendar G.Contacts for me. Cheap privacy first services with no compromise on the ease of use.

Outlook.com, part of Office Online (not to be confused with Microsoft Office Outlook ), is a webmail service from Microsoft, successor of Hotmail.
Outlook.com Features
Outlook.com vs Gmail opinions
BarnMTBYou get more storage space with Outlook - 15 GB of free email storage separated from 5GB free OneDrive cloud storage quota. With Gmail, it's 15GB shared across Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos. If you stored 15GB of files in Drive then you're screwed. Outlook also allows upto 10 aliases with easy 1-click switching, so you can basically change your email address. You can't do that in Gmail. Rules & automation in Outlook is also more intuitive.
1jeanchristophe2Outlook is the Microsoft equivalent of Gmail.
6Outlook is better for privacy
-4Very powerful, and well integrated to all my devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac…). I like the alias features, which allows me to use alternative addresses for some activities (I set a rule so they arrive in a different folder).
3It lets you create alias under the same account and is a better email client if you use Microsoft Office. Incoming mails can be better classified and is more proffesional.

JohnFastmanFastmail is an Australian email company that is a complete Gmail killer: 1) You pay with money, not your privacy (they don't data-mine or sell your data); 2) Full replacement for email, calendar, contact - including mobile app. 3) 2 factor authentication (Yubikey & others), infinite catch-all email addresses, file storage. Brilliant Gmail replacement.
8FastMail is the most professional mail service out there, the only problem with FastMail over Gmail is that they do not have good html template support yet, besides that, Gmail does not stand a chance.

0Wagn3rZoho delivers everything GMail does + more! If you setup a free business account you have awesome spam control capabilities.
- The sending IP address of Zoho Mail (135.84.80.217) is listed on none, none (0 of 130) DNSBL (DNS Blacklist)! While the sending IP addess of Gmail (209.85.128.173) is listed on 8/130 Spam Filter Lists, because Gmail is being misused by a lot of Spamers! This easily results into your Email NOT getting received at your destination!!! I am speaking from experience.

0JohnFastmanAt the moment, Mailbox.org is probably the best Gmail alternative: 1) You pay for the service with money, not your privacy (no data mining), 2) Excellent integration of encryption, 3) excellent Calendar and Contacts (not on mobile yet), 4) Yubikey 2FA, 5) Data stored in Germany (better privacy laws).
2Privacy oriented, good value for money, multiple e-mail aliases, works well with Thunderbird
1madmonkBest Gmail replacement at the moment. You get all the suite functions like the calendar, address book, cloud space, apps for a fair cheap price and the priceless privacy policy and encryption without losing IMAP capabilities as with some even more privacy focused email providers like Protonmail and Tutanota.
