JohnFastman Protonmail and Tutanota are both free services offering user-friendly encrypted email with a good set of features offered for free (and more on the way). Both enable you to send emails to other recipients (via PGP or a link) in a way that resists mass surveillance of the type Gmail, Yahoo! and Outlook are vulnerable to.

if you use TOR to ensure your anonymity, protonmail does not allow you to create an account without confirming your identity via payment or SMS - so it's far not a truly anonymous email service

VPCAmberWV It is the absolute best alternative to Tutanota with extremely similar features. The pricing is just a bit more expensive for ProtonMail than it is for Tutanota if you need a Premium or Business Account.

M_O_Z_G Tutanota sets the new limit - one user = one account. Administration already block accounts to know purposes. Not seems too perspective to use Tutanota further.

JohnFastman Mailvelope is not a service like Tutanota. Instead it allows you to use your PGP keys to encrypt/decrypt emails whilst using your existing webmail. More limited, but not as inconvenient to switch to.
