Has a good and fast search, code syntax highlighting. The software is pretty fast, like Cherry Tree and has a lot of format features, tags, hierarchical folders. You can change all the panels in dashboard, fully customizable. There is a dark mode.

DokuWiki requires a working PHP installation, which most home users do not have. It also requires a reasonable amount of configuration before it is usable. It is primarily a web server hosted application, not something you'd run on your own computer.

Silver Bullet is an extensible, open source, personal knowledge management system. Indeed, that’s fancy talk for “a note-taking app with links.” However, Silver Bullet goes a bit beyond just that.
