Screenshot Capture Tools

Being able to capture a moment for posterity in physical space requires a photograph, so the computer equivalent of that is capturing a screenshot. But what if one wants to capture an entire web page or video in motion? These tools, such as ShareX, have the versatility to enable users to capture the content on their screen any way they need or want to.

New innovations within the screen capturing space include optical character recognition, which allows users to copy text from image captures of social media posts, text snippets or excerpts, and other types of typing that otherwise wouldn’t be copyable.
