NormCap

Appimage worked right away on my linux install. Great. In KDE, I set a shortcut to launch it with a mouse button.

Shines as a one-line capture for copy/paste. Otherwise, note that it only copies to clipboard. Sometimes you want to paste something and go. Other times, you likely want to compare to the original and maybe edit. Photo Scan or GImageReader may be a better choice for general use. NormCap has Parse and Raw Mode.. Parse seems to filter out blank lines.

It its fast and easy, occasionally has issues with inserting an extra lank line, but that's a small price to pay for not having to retype out text
