Firefox is purely a browser and has none of the intrinsic communications capabilities of SeaMonkey

Firefox is a fair replacement for SeaMonkey's web browsing component. For a full replacement of the suite, additional software (such as Thunderbird) is required.

SeaMonkey is a full internet suite, while Thunderbird is just an email/scheduler. Thunderbird does not have a web browser (although it integrates well with Firefox), for instance.

There are very few projects that cover as much ground in a single application as Seamonkey.

With the integrated mail, calendar and feeds Vivaldi is a reasonable alternative to SeaMonkey. Note that it's a Chromium browser, though.
