Microsoft Edge is so much better than Internet Explorer, and sometimes it even runs faster than Chrome.

Has a too minimal design, tries to be similar to windows8 in this sense. Hiding everything, keeping it clean for the everyday 40 year old woman facebook user. Not really a fan of it.

The basic software works "fine", but as soon as i installed a few plugins, just crashed. Also the windows store plugin support is quite trash. Not exactly a suprise, the ms store in general is a trashvulcan.

Cannot be installed on LTSC windowses. (tank god)

Microsoft Edge is the most secure browser as it supports native hardware isolation on Windows (MDAG) and gets fast updates. It's hardened security mode disables JIT and enables many exploit mitigations. For these reasons Edge is an excellent browser for those looking for privacy and security.

Can something that has mandatory cloud features honestly be considered "secure"? The answer is an emphatic "NO!".

NOPE NOPE NOPE. I even recommended this browser as recently as a year or two ago, but my GOD how M$ has put work in to make sure it's bad. Constant nagging. Constant calling home. Will go as far as to delete random files you download, including ALL crx files for no reason. This browser is basically intrusive spyware now and you would be better off amputating your genitals.

Microsoft Edge from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge will have confusing versions in User Agent!

Microsoft Edge Version 101.0.1210.53 (Official build) (64-bit) Revision: 019dbf6dd738aa1846d87f5734878db0ee9df370 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/101.0.4951.64 Safari/537.36 Edg/101.0.1210.53

101.0.1210.53 is less than 101.0.4951.64
