Microsoft Edge is so much better than Internet Explorer, and sometimes it even runs faster than Chrome.
Even my lawnmower is better than Internet Explorer.

Don't judge unless you try the new chromium version which is -in my opinion- more than amazing.
After 5 years of using Chrome as my default browser... I uninstalled it after using Edge for 3 continuous months. Microsoft made great changes to it, It deserves the 5 stars. ??

Has a too minimal design, tries to be similar to windows8 in this sense. Hiding everything, keeping it clean for the everyday 40 year old woman facebook user. Not really a fan of it.
The basic software works "fine", but as soon as i installed a few plugins, just crashed. Also the windows store plugin support is quite trash. Not exactly a suprise, the ms store in general is a trashvulcan.
Cannot be installed on LTSC windowses. (tank god)
Microsoft Edge on the new chromium engine is awesome. It uses much less resources as compared to Google Chrome and is more secure thanks to smart screen. However the privacy is my only concern. Rest everything is just awesome. It has a lot of features like text to speech screenshots and on android it have scrolling screenshots too. Really a good experience once I switched to it!
Just don't use this stuff. Go for Chromium, or even better - Brave!
The amount of creepware they added is too many! It was once very lite and now, so many things to deactivate after installation and when there is an update, you'll never know what toggled back on!
The amount of ads, tracking, and other unwanted junk that is enabled in Microsoft Edge by default is absolutely intolerable. I don't want my browser to fill the new tab page with tabloid news, show me coupons while spying on my shopping habits, or cram other Microsoft products into the browser interface. The huge non-removable "B" button for Bing services in the browser bar is an eyesore. Firefox doesn't do this crap, and even Chromium is better than what Microsoft Edge is doing now.
