Microsoft Edge IE mode support continues through 2029

Microsoft has reminded organizations that Internet Explorer mode in Microsoft Edge will remain supported through at least the end of 2029.

Businesses that still rely on IE mode should inventory legacy website and application dependencies, assess modernization options, and plan migration work early.

Organizations that do not use IE mode do not need to take action, while eligible customers can use Microsoft App Assure for no-cost compatibility assistance.
