    This is a bootable Linux tool. Macrium does more stuff such as daily "diff" images of a running Windows install to a network drive. Totally different tools.

    I have used this number of times and it never fail me unless if the storage being cloned is faulty. It is also easy and intuitive to use.

    I was a loyal Macrium reflect user, have used it for years. Bought a lifetime licence. They have released Reflect X and changed their pricing stucture - now they want annual subscription only. Seems when you buy a lifetime licence it seems to mean "lifetime, until it isn't". Seriously? I have given up on Macrium. Moved to AOMEI Backupper. It does same thing. I am willing to pay for good s/w but not be cheated!

    It was my second choice after Macrium Reflect, but since Macrium killed the free version, Aomei is my choice. Besides Aomei Backupper is free and it works as expected.

    Agreed with most recent comment from stif1729 - DiskGenius has ability to save and clone partitions / disks. I don't know when these features were added, but I think they have been present since I started using it around 4 years ago, so really not sure why first commenters claim it lacks backup features.

    Veeam just has issues installing. Spent a whole day and the install had multiple issues with the latest Ubuntu kernel. It's just not as easy as Macrium.
