It does not back up network drives but! if you need this feature you can use the more advanced version of Veeam - Veeam Backup & Replication Community Edition. There you can back up also the mapped network drives!
Avoid if you can. Review of the free Veeam Agent v6.2.0.121. So I was searching for a free reliable Image Backup for Windows, but Veeam Agent is NOT it! Big company, well-advertised and glooming comments about. My experience however is the complete opposite. I installed and made several Backup iterations, the first one full, others incremental, integrity confirmed by it, others that failed, because it does not resume well over LAN or VPN network. A few weeks later had a problem with windows so I used the Recovery bootable USB to restore the full image, and now I realized how poor the software is. - WiFi drivers were not there, touchpad did not work, so I had to use a Ethernet cable and a USB mouse, then Samba network did not showed up, it could not resolve it, I had to manually write down the configuration of machine IP, Router IP - DNS IP, Subnet etc, manually gave the correct IP for the server machine and map the Samba share that I found with my Android phone, with exact correct path. I got to the backup image, it showed up info of several full backups with wrong dates and some incremental, I knew I only had a few so I got suspicious, selected the newest one and I waited, every seemed ok, Boot partition back, Recovery Partition back, EFI partition, but when got to the System partition after a few Gigabytes system crashed, what!? Rebooted again with the bootable USB, and I could check Veeam Agent was showing backups that did not match the number of backups and dates that I was confirming with my Android, even worst after trying the oldest first full backup it crashed again. My advice! Stay away from this, don’t be deceived– It’s free but it does not work!!
Free personnal backup of my physical computer and can backup on lan network destination.
Can anyone tell me if this product free for only a 30-day trial or beyond that?
it is free without limit

Very reliable and simple to use, free to end user, we can select the level of compression and there's encryption too.
Veeam Endpoint backup is a good product that works very well. It backs up your PC volumes and allows you to restore data by browsing the backups or booting into a USB drive for a full restore. The only caveats are that you are not at the moment able to backup a USB connected hard drive or have the option to boot into a USB device and do a cold backup of a system. They have stated that their developers are working on those options for future releases.
