Ungoogled Chromium vs Google Chrome opinions
ddoronAlmost identical with modifications to remove google's reach.
best alternative if u like chrome, but want to surf secure and without google
Image and video quality are bad due to the fact it's missing tons of proprietary codecs and plugins. It doesn't matter if you put a video quality in 4K, it still looks like 420p and edges look harsh and not full quality.
Ranogardchromium is not fully ungoogled
Ungoogled Chromium removes every google stuff that makes it a good browser for privacy and security
onkoeIt is like Brave in that it has all the features of Chrome without the Google connections, but unlike Brave in that it has absolutely no bloatware included. Ungoogled-Chromium is my favorite Chromium-based browser!
For Windows there is only a ZIP file, where's the exe file? Also, I have found no way to update it. From where would you download the extensions since the Chrome Web Store is broken? Proprietary codecs and DRM are also other problems in this browser.

EmiranSafari Shouldn't Be Ignored Anymore, With Many Good Features Such As Malicious URL Blocking, Safari Is The Best Browser For Apple Devices, Oh, Also Safari Turns Out Can Be Installed On Windows, Just An Old Version Of It
Great design, minimalistic looks. If you are in the Apple ecosystem is great. The downside is that it has no extension for example LastPass for password manager and DF Tube for YouTube, if you can live without extensions... its a great browser.
SilbermannWorks much better on both macOS and iOS devices. Has better performance and battery live.
jxewingLonger battery life on MacBook Pro.

Iridium Browser is based on the Chromium code base. All modifications enhance the privacy of the user and make sure that the latest and best secure technologies are used.
Iridium Browser vs Google Chrome opinions
JohnFastmanChrome fans will do well to realise that Chrome is proprietary and contains a lot of code designed to spy on what you do online, correlate this with the rest of your Google account data and use it to make money. Iridium, on the other hand, takes the Chromium codebase and specifically removes privacy-invading parts. Unlike Chrome, Iridium is open source, so you can check the code yourself, if you wish. Some functionality is reduced (e.g. Flash) but in that case try Vivaldi.
SilbermannCoolest Chrome-based browser out there.

DuckDuckGo Privacy Browser vs Google Chrome opinions
brandirolsenDuck duck go does have a desktop version for Mac now. I am using it now. You must have the mobile version and request the version for your desktop through the settings of your mobile app. It takes a little while but it works well.
tibbeIt is good, but unfortunately only mobile. It depends on the web renderer the system provides, it would be better to my opinion if it used Servo for example.
It loads no ads, no trackers, no cookies and no history. I'm not concerned by my online privacy, yet by not loading all of those, the content is delivered much faster, even on VERY low internet (1 Mb/s)
