Firefox is a cross-platform web browser developed by the Mozilla Foundation. Firefox is a popular product, used in over 50 languages and available for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS.
Mozilla Firefox vs Google Chrome opinions
Highly customizable, open and libre, care about privacy. Made on non-profit.
Firefox allows far more control over your privacy than does Chrome (or even Chromium on which Chrome is based). Not jut because it doesn't come with Google stuff embedded, but also because it allows complete control over things like webRTC (which can leak info about your IP address, hardware), whereas Chrome/Chromium and related browsers don't have this control.
It's more privacy and secure and U can strengthen with customization the settings. Lots of very useful extensions and the feature is awesome.
I've been using it for over 5 years and never got disappointed: super customizable, actually cares about your privacy, and most importantly for me, this screenshot feature is marvelous!
I like Mozilla Firefox 'coz it's the last alternative :-\
I like that this browser is open source and not trying to profit off of your data. It is highly customizable by its nature, fast and privacy focused
Easy to use. You can make it extremely secure using one file. Perfect extension support. All the features of Chrome, without being a data harvester.
Brave Web Browser is a fast, free, secure web browser with a built-in ad blocker*, tracking and security protection, and optimized data and battery experience.
Brave vs Google Chrome opinions
It's faster and better in every possible way!
It's kinda like Chrome but WAY more private.
based on chromium and blink, so if you go from chrome to brave, you don't really give google less control over the we, but the build in tor feature is nice functionality, which I think Firefox should have too.
I use it every day and it is way better
It's more secure than Firefox, but I prefer to choose Firefox because Brave can't cloud sync with account
Way too advertised, basically another Chromium-like browser.
Brave is very similar to Chrome, but with some other great features like a built in ad blocker and a way to earn or donate crypto.
Vivaldi is extremely customizable, presenting a wide range of settings and built-in features designed to put the user in control.
Vivaldi vs Google Chrome opinions
It is very customizable, fast, and has built in tracker and ad blocking
Perfect speed dial and bulit in tracking protection.
A power-user ultra-customizable internet suite including web, mail and news, built on the same engine as Chrome. Like Opera used to be, but with modern tech and capabilities.
Feels slightly slower but i can't deny the great customization ability and efficiency. Chrome is nothing compared to this beast.
More private and customisable
Vivaldi is a lot more customisable than Chrome, Vivaldi has a lot more features than Chrome, Vivaldi is more privacy focused and it's based on the Blink engine (also known as Chromium) so switching to Vivaldi is very easy + it supports Chrome extensions.
It's so much more intimate!
Opera is an innovative browser that focus on implementing new technologies without dropping simplicity and ease of use, speed, and security; supporting and contributing to open web standards.
Opera vs Google Chrome opinions
Great light browser which has great features VPN, adblocking, RSS Personal News..
It's light weight and can run smoothly on low end devices unlike chrome and mozilla.
Shady. Not more shady than Chrome, but likely as bad.
Tons of features and great UI, but was bought out by a Chinese company, so it might not respect your privacy as much as it seems.
Looks great, can easily handle hundreds of tabs open, has an ability to group tabs into manageable sessions, powerful sidebar where you can have your music and chat apps located. It's a really powerful and battle-tested browser.
GUI is different but have tons of feature, like Build-in VPN, Ad Blocker, PiP(Picture in picture) mode etc...
It's only partially open-sourced
The Tor software protects you by bouncing your communications around a distributed network of relays run by volunteers all around the world: it prevents somebody watching your Internet connection from learning what sites you visit, it prevents the sites you visit from learning...
Tor Browser vs Google Chrome opinions
It blocks prying eyes and is much more secure. IT is the most private browser currently...
It's Firefox + being completely anonymous! I think that says it all.
Way less secure than normal browsers when used regularly like when logging into accounts
You could use Tor-Browser every day. It is extremely hardened and you should think about running a relay, as you would otherwise suck a lot of resources of good People. It is hardened Firefox, you can add Addons (warning: they can deanonymize you!), Search engines, collect bookmarks, set the homepage, and a lot more.
Inherently slower than chrome, but by far the most private browsing experiance one can have. Used by lots of anti-censorship organisations and journalists, among others.
It's Give You True Anonymity On The Internet, Great Security, Built-In VPN, Clear Search History When You Exit TOR, You Should Give It A Try.
I like Tor Browser as an alternative to Google Chrome because it helps you protect your privacy and is open source and is backed by a non-profit
Chromium is an open-source browser project that aims to build a safer, faster, and more stable way for all users to experience the web.
Chromium vs Google Chrome opinions
It's more lighter then chrome and have all functions of it
Without the google branding, it is the same efficient code.
Same engine, same experience, mostly the same features as Chrome, but without being tied directly into Google services.
Can't play video and login into a few services but otherwise fine
Chromium Is The Closest Alternative To Google, With Some Security Features Like No Search, It's Kinda Messed Up, But You Should Give It Try, Chromium Is Also Ranked To Be The Best Browser For Linux!
Origin of Google Chrome. It's open-source and completely safe.
number "ONE" reason, it is opensource.
Rebuilt from the ground up using Chromium, the new Microsoft Edge brings you world-class compatibility and performance, the security and privacy you deserve, and new features designed to bring you the best of the web.
Microsoft Edge vs Google Chrome opinions
Not resource hungry, great privacy features, etc...
it's pretty underrated for sure
If you want to use a browser's Incognito mode (called Private Browsing in Firefox and Safari), you don't want where you go to be recorded in files stored on your computer. Microsoft Edge DOES store info about where you've been, even if you've been there using its InPrivate mode. (http://betanews.com/2016/01/30/stop-using-microsoft-edges-inprivate-mode-if-you-value-your-privacy/). Switch to an open source browser. There are plenty of good ones.
Forced by Microsoft, promoted with a ton of Ads.
Good software doesn´t need ads, and Edge is horrible for Privacy.
Far from the best in terms of privacy but still much better than chrome
It has almost every feature of Chrome and adds on it much more! It is designed for multiple types of user audiences. I can clearly say it best browser for who uses their browsers for Work/school, shopping, watch video streaming services, check the news and more!
natively integrated in Windows
Waterfox is a high performance browser based on the Mozilla platform. Made specifically for 64-Bit systems, Waterfox has one thing in mind: speed.
Waterfox vs Google Chrome opinions
64 bit for Windows 10 Pro. Fast, lots of extensions, tabs, themes, stable...
64-bit, open source, lightning fast & private.
Compared to Firefox (from where it was forked on), Waterfox looks pretty dated and some extensions refuses to be installed due to this -- depending on what extension you want, you may have troubles.
not chromium based, so by using this instead of chrome you give google less control over the web.
Waterfox is a all in one thing. It can hadle chrome, microsoft edge as well as firefox extensions
Sorry For Waterfox Fans, I Will Not Say That Waterfox Is A Good Alternative, Waterfox Disables Many Firefox Secuirty Features, And This Could Be Dangerous.
It is private and secure, open source and it doesn't have telemetry data collection
Pale Moon is an Open Source, Goanna-based web browser available for Microsoft Windows and Linux (with other operating systems in development), focusing on efficiency and customization. Make sure to get the most out of your browser!.
Pale Moon vs Google Chrome opinions
It's the old Firefox!!! Loved it!
Yandex.Browser is a simple and easy-to-use internet browser. Based on the Chromium technology platform, it loads pages quickly, just shows you what you need and gives you plenty of space for viewing webpages.
Yandex.Browser vs Google Chrome opinions
not privacyfriendly either
Nice neat and clean plus it integrates well with Gmail and other email services.
Insecure wi-fi protection.
Of all the browsers I use, Yandex is the most stable, fast and fluid, I have it as my default browser and I highly recommend it.
