Firefox allows far more control over your privacy than does Chrome (or even Chromium on which Chrome is based). Not jut because it doesn't come with Google stuff embedded, but also because it allows complete control over things like webRTC (which can leak info about your IP address, hardware), whereas Chrome/Chromium and related browsers don't have this control.

100% Compatibility with Google Chrome extensions and websites. Brave is privacy centric, and committed to changing how online content is funded. With Brave users have the option to opt-in to unobtrusive, infrequent, privacy-respecting ads which pay the user a few dollars each month, enough to donate and support content creators online.

Brave has better privacy by default when compared to Chrome, and has been investing in built-in decentralized technologies like TOR and IPFS, which make the web a more resilient and healthier place.

OPdrill Vivaldi is a lot more customisable than Chrome, Vivaldi has a lot more features than Chrome, Vivaldi is more privacy focused and it's based on the Blink engine (also known as Chromium) so switching to Vivaldi is very easy + it supports Chrome extensions.

It is chromium-based but for Android devices Opera or, even better, Opera Touch, need much less storage space. Chrome tends to...gather 10GB pf nothingness even after a full cleanup. For Android, Chrome is good only because it automatically signs you into Google.

JohnFastman If you want to use a browser's Incognito mode (called Private Browsing in Firefox and Safari), you don't want where you go to be recorded in files stored on your computer. Microsoft Edge DOES store info about where you've been, even if you've been there using its InPrivate mode. (http://betanews.com/2016/01/30/stop-using-microsoft-edges-inprivate-mode-if-you-value-your-privacy/). Switch to an open source browser. There are plenty of good ones.
