GIMP vs FireAlpaca opinions
GIMP is for photo editing mainly. I dont try to draw with it.
2GIMP is way more oriented to image editing photoshop-style than to digital art.
0its more for photo editing. firealpaca is for drawing
0GIMP is a photo editor; it's possible to use it for digital drawing, but very complicated and not user-friendly.

My sister uses it and it is amazing for drawing if you have a drawing pad to connect to the computer.
4lian00Krita is much more powerful than FireAlpaca for drawing and painting. There is no real comparison possible. FireAlpaca is a light/simple drawing software with poor brush engine and Krita is a complete drawing and painting solution (and manages animation too).
0It's very good for drawing!! You can do that cool selection coloring thing!
0It isn't a very good drawing app, FireAlpaca is much better but fades away over time.

FireAlpaca is a drawing app, while Adobe Photoshop is, well, a Photoshop app.
-1though designed for photo editing it is a phenomenal drawing app the thing that can make fire alpaca seem better is how photoshop has more than one purpose and isn't laid out optimally for artists initially but you'll find layouts online if needed

There's a good mobile version I use on my ipad
2I love both FireAlpaca and FireAlpaca. Compared to other free drawing software, these two have a nice fill tool to fill the color with a very nice effect.
0You can only have 3 layers, can't copy/paste, can't resize, etc
-4very good interface, just simply as it would be. Very good brushes and this software works with Huion pen tablet very well (FireAlpaca doesn't). Multiple layers (not just 3 !) and different modes. Focus on drawing. Good app on mobile device too.
