Comments about Krita as an Alternative to FireAlpaca
Top Positive Commentlian00Krita is much more powerful than FireAlpaca for drawing and painting. There is no real comparison possible. FireAlpaca is a light/simple drawing software with poor brush engine and Krita is a complete drawing and painting solution (and manages animation too).
Most Recent CommentllllFireAlpaca launches almost instantly, Krita takes about 10 seconds on my system. I make line art in other app and use these both mostly for fast simple coloring, so it makes sense to use the faster FireAlpaca. I also happen to like FireAlpaca downloadable watercolor brushes. There's any brush for any app today, but there's no choice paralysis with the less popular app. Overall Krita is more sophisticated and customisable for those who need that.
It's very good for drawing!! You can do that cool selection coloring thing!

Comments about Adobe Photoshop as an Alternative to FireAlpaca
though designed for photo editing it is a phenomenal drawing app the thing that can make fire alpaca seem better is how photoshop has more than one purpose and isn't laid out optimally for artists initially but you'll find layouts online if needed
FireAlpaca is a drawing app, while Adobe Photoshop is, well, a Photoshop app.

Comments about Paint.NET as an Alternative to FireAlpaca
TECHNICALLY freemium...you can download the 100% free version from the website, they only charge for the Windows Store version. Better Community and Developer support than any other option in this list INCLUDING GIMP.
