ClaraRua Editor and layout are way more pleasant than Confluence. We use it both as knowledge base and everyday note taking. It's super transparent for the whole team, auto-synced, with a subtle activity/update model that doesn't interrupt your workflow.

victorwallspro Just discovered it with their mobile launch on product hunt back in december. Loved the design at first and loved the ux and collaboration features while using it with my team. If you're still on confluence it's worth a try 1000 times.

aubincleme I like XWiki as an alternative to Confluence as it comes with tools allowing a seamless migration from one to another. It also has similar macros and the same extension mechanism as Confluence, which allows to not loose features when migrating.
