GIMP vs Pixlr Comments
GIMP is much more difficult to use than Pixlr. Its features are more complex and it doesn't have many of the features that make Pixlr handy to the average user.
GIMP is not really a Pixlr alternative. It lacks many of the features Pixlr provides across its suite of tools. Pixlr can be used via a web browser, it provides templates, AI background removal and effects.

- GIMP is Free and Open Source
- GIMP is Customizable and Privacy focused

It has a lot more features than Pixlr, it's more scalable, it's free of charge, it's open source, extendible.
