Twitter has more users and is not an echo-chamber. No real reason to use Threads.
Threads also has massive privacy concerns, so much so that I have heard that is why it is not allowed in the EU at the moment.
Not that Twitter is a privacy app, but it doesn't have as bad of a track record as Meta.
