Platform full of ludicrous people. How fake news and stupid trends are spread through the Internet. Repeated and toxic content. Such bad privacy policy. Only decent purpose is its messaging feature because of the fact everyone has it.
Some backward products
Facebook is not made for users, it is made for Meta, and making Meta stocks, it is for the cash/$ and get the most of the $ is to sell the users info. Bluesky is better, still US, still Cloud Act, a strong competition actually, eYou. yeah, the "EU" is easy to read, much user-friendly, you you can choose "your platform" from the beginning, added "fact check" from the beginning, if you make a clam it will be made checked, and given a review at several points. So the absurd claims that run Facebook (X and other) will not train traction.. Point is, drop the loosing team and their glasses...
I agree with the others, it's just not good. One star is still too many.
Nowadays, I see alot of adult type content showing up on Facebook. Honestly this is not good specially for kids who also use the app. Facebook should take action and make the platform more safe, otherwise parents will not feel comfortable letting children use it. Hope they fix this soon.
I quit facebook cause they have repeatedly broken EU privacy laws and are still (after several lawsuits and fines) extracting european users data to the US, where they can do with it as they please (compared to GDPR). They are using their apps to surveil and gather information to know who is connected to who, also people outside of facebook, and they're willing to openly give other companies access to this data like we saw with Cambridge Analytica. They use dark design patterns to make people use more time on their platforms, wasting peoples time with »useful« notifications for every interaction on the site, no matter how un-important it is. I would like platforms like facebook to have respect for their users privacy and time and because of this I can't recommend facebook or Metas platforms to anyone.
