AnyDesk offers a fast, intuitive and security-focused way to connect to remote computers.
AnyDesk vs Remote Desktop Connection opinions
Easier interface, or user friendly IMO. Once you get into the many options and settings though I can see it being overwhelming. What sold it for me was the Cross-Platform Unattended access option, allowing me to operate of control any device in my network. Only drawbacks for myself would be issues with connecting to a ChromeOS device (Chromebook), as well as increased lazyness.
arikalbukrekVery nice app you don't need to be a Champion in Computers. I have connected my mac to nuc+proxpox+windows 10

pavanvoI like Remmina as an alternative to Remote Desktop Connection because it's free software and have all the features what I need
HorizonI've been using Remote Desktop Connection (Manager) for years as a Windows user. Remmina seems like the most popular alternative for Linux, and honestly, it works. The interface isn't quite as simple as it seems to support a lot more, but I had it up and running in a couple of minutes.
#1 FREE! I use it in Linux to connect to Windows servers for a couple reasons. I also have the commercial version of TeamViewer. (But TV only see one person/user/login) Remmina I can login as another remote user, SET MY SCREEN RES!!! That is the most important thing when logging in on a small high res screen. Windows removed scaling. :(
I use Remmina on Linux to remote into a WIndows PC. Works great.
mRemoteNG is a fork of mRemote , an open source, tabbed, multi-protocol, remote connections manager.
