Pages is great if all you're doing is created template-based poster-art, but falls very short in terms of being a fully-fledged, compatible office application.
Propriatary bloat
Pages can't seem to load any of my .doc files. What's up with that?
This problem seems to have been fixed with the latest update to Pages.
Words cant describe how much easier it is to use Pages on a Mac to create newsletter and other design content than in Microsoft Office.
I don't use Pages as a Word processor but I do use it as a basic, but very quick and easy to use DTP software that is much easier, simpler and quicker to use than Microsoft's DTP offering, Publisher (which isn't on the Mac anyhow).
