SRW Publisher

SRW Publisher is a Windows program for everyday page layout: flyers, newsletters, price lists, spec sheets and notices. It has a ribbon along the top, pages down the left and the page in the middle, so it will feel familiar to anyone who has used Microsoft Publisher.

It opens Microsoft Publisher (.pub) files directly, without Publisher installed. Photos, text boxes, lines and shapes come in as separate items you can move and edit, and the original .pub file is never changed. PDFs can be opened and edited the same way. Microsoft is removing Publisher from Microsoft 365 from October 2026, so this is aimed at people with years of .pub files they still need to use.

Features include photo cropping and rotation, a Tidy Grid button that arranges selected photos in an evenly spaced grid, text boxes that fit their text, shapes and arrows, rulers, guides and snapping, A4 and other page sizes, printing and PDF export. It works offline, with a built-in spell checker, and needs no account.

Sold through the Microsoft Store as a one-off purchase with a free 15-day trial of the full program. No subscription. Windows 10 and 11.
