It's fast and it has an interface that makes sense to me.
Was expecting a lot from this, but it just proved to me one should never believe the hype. I found it fussy, and unintuitive. The real slap in the face was that it didn't recognised, or allow importing video files from my iPhone. Seriously, WTF? Wanted to like it, but a seriously disappointing experience.
Since your comment is top negative comment as I'm writing this, let me assure you and others that importing videos from iPhone or iPad is not a problem at all.

I'm kind of curious what makes you find it fussy and unintuitive. Compared to iMovie, sure, but that's a bit of a different category. To each his own, but compared to Premiere Pro or Davinci theres' a lot to say for FCP's usability.

Excellent tool, the paragon among video editing apps for years. The simpliest and the most powerful - even monkeys can edit in it and edit cool!
so I'm a monkey! ;P
