Worst than Microsoft Word. Their enormous surveillance and privacy violations are very dangerous. I suggest LibreOffice instead.

Google docs is even worst than Microsoft Word. Their enormous surveillance and privacy violations are unacceptable. I suggest LibreOffice instead.

It is absolutely free. It also has some incredible features like pdf to word and much more. WPS Office gives all necessary components of MS-Office i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point. The best part is that it is cross-platform.

VERY GOOD PROGRAM BUT IT IS NOT OPEN SOURCE so keep that in mind. I, personally, did not use it. but, a friend of mine uses it and spoke greatly about it. He said it deserves 10 out of 10 in every term (Easiness , Responsiveness , Stability , etc.)

Has many many features similar to Microsoft Word, and some that it doesn't it. Much more lightweight to run than Microsoft Word. The Spell Check needs some major help.

It's annoyingly blank and too basic for my needs - doesn't really do enough to be considered an alternative to MS Word - maybe WordPAD or Notepad - bot not WORD.. That's not a fair or accurate comparison - that would be like trying to compare a basic guestbook addon to a WordPress installation - It's just not the same thing ...
