Easy to use. Google Suite of products having consistent user experience and possible collaboration makes it powerful.
Privacy issues, huge control, not following standards, and have their own proprietary standards to login to the web mail interface, censorship. Avoid.
G Sites - use only if you are ok with a large UNMOVABLE banner at the bottom of each page advertising g sites and a botton to report abuse. Even if you buy g suite, on g sites you cannot remove this banner. Guessing it is wordpress instead, that security nightmare.

I use Google Apps to host my domain's email for free and the productivity tools make collaboration a snap.
I normally don’t comment on this type of post. I’ve been an CMS admin for over 10 years. I’ve dealt with a number of good CMSs SharePoint, Google Apps, Centralpoint (by Oxcyon) and many others. I got to give credit where credit is due. Centralpoint had us fooled at first because it was such a small vendor but after reading the new Gartner report there is definitely a big change coming, and unification (or centralization) is the future!
