What is Google Vids?
Google Vids is a new AI-powered video creation tool that will be part of the
Google Workspace suite. The tool allows users to transform existing assets into a video, and collaborate in real time, similar to other Workspace tools.
Users can create videos such as product pitches or training content, starting with a prompt and using files from
Google Drive or stock content. The AI then creates a storyboard, which users can edit by reordering parts, adding transitions and an audio track.
The tool is currently in limited testing and will be available for customers with
Google Gemini for Workspace subscriptions.
