I haven't tried Gemini extensively so I can't give it a proper review. However, I will point out a few gripes that make this not in my favor (besides the fact that it's a Google product so you have zero privacy whatsoever):
- The constant advertising of giving people an opportunity to "Try Gemini" is annoying. (personal gripe)
- You need Gemini Apps Activity enabled to use its extensions, such as for Gmail, Docs, Drive, and YouTube.

I haven't tried Gemini extensively so I can't give it a proper review. However, I will point out a few gripes that make this not in my favor (besides the fact that it's a Google product so you have zero privacy whatsoever):
Now, how Gemini (the model) performs is beyond me, and I don't have the expertise or time to figure that out myself.
Overly restricted, refuses to answer lots of questions. Android app doesn't function unless you replace Google Assistant, but can't actually do the same tasks as Google Assistant.
It's Google.. for better or for worse. I'm not really clear from the description how it differs from ChatGPT, but I will guess that it pops up while using certain applications. After reading the reviews though, I'm not inclined to try it.. I mean, it's Google.
Racist by design: anti-white people. Can't trust any AI made by a company that consciously designed their most important product to discriminate on the basis of skin color, and then defended their reason for doing so.
