   Unlike Turtl, Evernote is 1) unencrypted/not very secure privacy-respecting 2) has lost user data in the past, both by software and security errors, 3) closed source (less trustworthy than Turtl), 3) doesn't support linux, 4) feels different on each platform, 5) feels bloated and slow after you put in a sufficient number of notes, 6) The company have and can again make privacy-violating changes to their privacy policy. Turtl is in beta, but aleady infinitely preferable.

   Google Keep is part of Google's range of services that enable Google to make money through harvesting your private information, including your notes, location, search... Turtl is encrypted and cannot do this. They cannot harvest, lose or give away readable versions of your notes. Stay away from Keep.
