On the plus side, it rips out everything that talks to Google behind your back. On the minus side, it doesn't replace those Google-specific features, making it awkward to deal with. (For instance: It can use Chromium extensions, but it doesn't trust the Chrome Web Store.)

If you want to avoid Apple's ecosystem and tracking on your Apple device, handing everything over to Microsoft - which is a lot pushier in my experience - instead seems like an odd choice.

A decent choice if you're planning to switch from macOS to Linux. A bit lighter weight, and not much in the way of extensions, but it'll do the job of a default browser.

Very promising web browser, it's based on Safari AND it supports both Chrome and Firefox extensions.

Orion is built on the same engine as Safari, but with more capabilities...and it can install most Chromium/Firefox extensions too. Closer to Arc or Zen in terms of how complex the interface is, a little more complex than Safari, but nowhere near Opera or Edge.
