TickTick seems like a knock off: their whole user interface is identical to the popular ToDoIst (not that I support ToDoIst), they are registered by a guy with a Gmail account in China, they don't have any info on their site about how user data is handled, stored, deleted or used and they don't reply to questions about any of this by email.
