I've been able to do the same things that I did with Microsoft Office. The interface is very similar and easy to use.

It looks and feels very similar to Microsoft Office Excel, but it's free, opensource, it has horizontal scrolling, feels more stable, UI a bit less polished, but it's full featured and it was super easy to migrate from Excel to Libre Calc, I'm happy that there is such a great alternative. There's possibility to open all Excel spreadsheets in Libre Calc and save Libre Cals spreadsheets in Excel format, so it's fully compatible, which is a great plus!

The only stable alternative to Excel, when you need to edit small databases : add records, copy, paste, without keeping text format, etc.
