Spreadsheets

Spreadsheets are obviously useful, but tend to be arcane. With Zapdex you can enter data into a convenient form then switch to spreadsheet view. Think of a form as a user friendly front end. You can limit the fields (columns) to include in your spreadsheet view, which extremely simplifies updating data. This feature also allows you to access data from huge spreadsheets on a tiny cell phone screen, just set the view for the rows and columns that you want. Zapdex spreadsheets can contain images that expand on hover, with links for sharing. Zapdex makes it easy to structure all your data for easy access from mobile devices. A zapdex spreadsheet containing images constitutes an image gallery, complete with hover to expand feature and click for full size. Each image provides a link for online sharing. It is easy to export spreadsheets from Zapdex to Excel or other cvs spreadsheets.

Calc is capable of opening and saving most spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel file format. It provides a number of features not present in Excel, including a system that automatically defines series for graphing based on the layout of the users data. Calc is also capable of writing spreadsheets directly as PDF files.
