What is MFCommander?

MFCommander is a native file manager for macOS built around two independent file panes. It supports local file operations, tabs, archives, search, file metadata inspection, disk-usage analysis, duplicate-file detection, and viewers for text, hex, documents, images, audio, video, code, Markdown, and other file types. Its large-file viewer reads only the visible portion of a file rather than loading the full file into memory.

The free Community edition covers local file management and iCloud Drive. Pro adds SMB, SFTP, FTP, NFS, Amazon S3-compatible storage, OneDrive, and Dropbox connections. The Infra edition adds Kubernetes and Docker browsing, including resource inspection, logs, YAML editing, PersistentVolumeClaim files, and Docker volume files. The application requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later on Apple silicon Macs.
