Comments about Syncthing as an Alternative to GoodSync
bjarteI agree with the above comment. While being a great tool for its use, this is not the same kind of tool as GoodSync. This is more of a backup tool. When running Syncthing on two directories on the same computer that was already in sync, it wasn't able to see that the files where already there and copied everything over again in addition to creating a lot of zip files instead of copying the actual files.

In a quick test, I can tell it behaves almost identically to GoodSync. Seems to be a good program.
John EdwardsFreeFileSync is a disaster, it took 24hs to copy over all the files, GoodSync does it in 3hs (clean backup to empty local folder). And what's worrisome: it always finds some new 2-3 GB every time i compare the folders even though i didn't make any changes on the remote directory.

Round Sync Features
Although Syncthing is a great file synchronizer, do not completely replace Goodsync, as it does not sync files on the same computer and has no option to move files (delete at source).
