It's an okay program for writing stuff. I would very much rather use this than opening the slow and bloaty LibreOffice Writer. The (easy to configure) skin support is also much appreciated.

First off, it opens full screen by default and has no resizer icon in the upper right corner.. you will have to find the setting to fix that. Secondly (for Windows), it's rtf function appears to rely on the Windows Wordpad engine. Microsoft is discontinuing Wordpad and it won't be included in future systems. That means to get rtf copy/paste in new systems you will have to download Windows Wordpad which may become archaic. It has pretty skins.. I get that.

Basic simplicity. Shocked that it doesnt have increase or decease text size option in toolbar. For this reason, I prefer to use something else.
"FocusWriter" is masterpiece in its 2022 version (1.8.3 version). You can create your own theme, using HEX colour codes from designer sites. Photos also supported. ODT-format for Libre Office fans. Great statistics system. And so on - very cool app!
Had been looking for a simple and lightweight Linux editor like this for a long time. LibreOffice is good but heavy. AbiWord is lightweight but riddled with bugs. This one works flawlessly on my Ubuntu machine, starts up quick enough to not be a bother, and gives the option to change the font and background colors the way a want.
Can open Wordpad document buy not appears the objects incrusted inside it (videos, images)
