What is EaseUS ToDo BackUp?
EaseUS ToDo BackUp is a file backup and disaster recovery software. You can backup disks, partitions, individual files and folders. You can backup to other disk of your PC or to FTP and CD/DVD. Todo Backup enables you to clone the entire disk fast both in Windows and bootable CD. It can backup your system partition to image to quickly get the system up and running in the event of a system crash or hardware failure and allows you to restore after viruses attack, unstable software download, and hard drive failure.
NOTE: The speed of backups and restore-processes of the free version is only a third of the speed of the backups and restore-processes of home version (Information at the beginning of installation).

This is the best free program. And the best for most people. There are comments here that say about being slow, however, the backup has very acceptable speed for a 1TB PC* (it spends less than one night, so solves for any home user) and the restoration may take a little longer, after all, it will be rare you make her. This program has recovery CD, a way of booting it before windows which ensures integrity and being able to recover straight from the computer before windows boot, it has a beautiful program, a solid knowledge base, differential backup, incremental backup , full backup. I have no cons for a free application, including, since you have read so far, easeus data recovery is also very good because it recovers files deleted by accident or formatting and maintains the folder structure, only it gets paid.

The free version of Easeus Todo Backup ist much slower than the home version according to an Information at the beginning of installation-process. The free versions of Macrium Reflect and of AOMEI Backupper are not slower than the unfree versions of these better backup-solutions. Because of this very important negative behaviour I cannot recommend the Free version of Easeus Todo Backup.
With over 14 years of experience, EaseUS is a company that clearly knows what they are doing in the field. Their Todo Backup Home is easy to use and well designed offering all the features you would expect from backup software.
EaseUS Todo Backup Home supports all versions of Windows desktop and server starting from Windows XP.
EaseUS Todo Backup Home is offered in either a 1-year or 2-year subscription form or as a Lifetime License. Potential customers could always try out a free trial version of the software before they invest in it.
EaseUS Todo Backup free version does get the job done, is reasonably simple to setup, and seems above average for reliability. Using it for incremental backups, once the first run is complete, subsequent backups are done fairly fast. I set the performance to low to minimize impact on work being done during the backup. My backups go to an external HD plugged into a USB port.
Overall I find the setup to be straightforward, but what is top priority for me is reliability. I've had trouble with Microsoft's "File History" as well as the software bundled with portable external; hard drives from the major brands. EaseUS todo has simply been more reliable than the other options I've used.
Lastly, I would prefer an open source option for simple backups to external hard drives but have had trouble finding a reliable option. Duplicati looks promising, but I encounter too many errors. For now I'll use the Freemium version of EaseUS.
These companies that have rock solid backup solutions that they sold as perpetual licensing for many years, are now showing something like a fake subscription cost because they now want yearly payments ??! WTF ? I'll explain a bit.. too many companies are following this greed route..changing nothing but their pricing.
Let's not forget this is a $30 per computer cost. If you have a family, they want to trick you into paying $120(4 computers) each year .. which is mind bending insane.
They don't stipulate the reason in the site(on the page) for the YEARLY cost NOR do they specify what the "1 year" actually means.. ? Is it 1 year of updates ? ? or is it truly $30 a year like a badly planned greedy SAAS fee since there is nothing for them to do further besides make workarounds for whatever Satya's cheap labor force breaks..ahem I meant creates in win10.
So tired of this new FAUX-SAAS thing. YOU DON'T NEED FULL PRICE EVERY YEAR YOU ASSCLOWNS! 'they obviously hide that as so the gullible simply pay them $30 every year for what amounts to nothing new besides their taste for greed.
My review for the paid subscription (Home 10.6): well-made but incredibly self-serving and on-high-horse-sitting.
I changed a few hardware pieces inside of my PC:
Contact support? We all know how customer support works in the present times: "We understand your concern. Here, have a copy-paste from our FAQ that is completely unrelated to the question you asked."
Conclusion: Got subscription from Humble Bundle. Was considering to renew it. Not considering anymore! Don't give your money to software developers who think you exist for them, instead of that they exist for you.
