This was good until it added spyware and adware to it's install.

I used to use this till they went overboard with the bloat/advertisements. I use Virtual Clone Drive now and IMHO it's just better all around. I'm not sure if Daemon Tools has improved over the years though because I haven't been using it.

This entry is quite incorrect. The name is "Daemon Tools", but the screenshot shows DAEMON Tools Pro, and the licence is set to free, but it's free for personal use only (Lite) or commercial (Pro). The icon and author/company is wrong too. Edit: I've changed the title to "DAEMON Tools Lite" now, deleted the screenshot and changed the licence to free for personal use. "DAEMON Tools Pro" is another piece of software and should get it's own entry. :)

Can't be used in commercial operations, use Virtual Clone Drive instead.

using Windows 7 x64 and its been working great. A while ago it did not support windows 7 but its been fine for about a half a year now.

Daemon Tools is good for mounting almost any cd image file type and is pretty light weight and has a nice interface.
