Comments and Reviews

Comment summary: WinCDEmu is praised for its simplicity, lightweight design, and lack of bloat, making it a preferred choice over DAEMON Tools and Virtual CD. Users appreciate its open-source nature, the ability to support numerous disk formats, and its portable version. However, some mention its inability to mount images with CDDA/Redbook audio tracks and limitations on Windows 10. Overall, it is recognized as a powerful, free alternative to several paid solutions.

Yes - it IS simple , easy to use and fast BUT it doesn't work 100%. If you use it to mount a CD/DVD image to install a game it will do that and create a new drive but when starting up the game the game will not recognize it as a CD/DVD drive (no matter what setting you choose in settings). So it's main purpose is to extract archives (as 7-zip will do) and create virtual drives.
