Slite is easier to use: it takes out all the clutter of knowledge sharing to make it a simple experience for the entire team. The real time editor is extremely fast and the search makes it easy to retrieve the right information.

It's Open Source and has the closest feature set compared to Confluence. It also has additional features such as structured wiki pages. There is also a migration toolkit.

I like XWiki as an alternative to Confluence as it comes with tools allowing a seamless migration from one to another. It also has similar macros and the same extension mechanism as Confluence, which allows to not loose features when migrating.
