    Mozilla aren't perfect, but Firefox is, overall, still the best browser out there. Just some of the reasons: it's open source (trustworthy), doesn't spy on you like Chrome, has encrypted bookmarks/tabs/settings sync, lots of extensions and a huge array of options under the about:config menu.

    I mean, yeah, Chrome is the more "complete" version of Chromium, but it really wants to tie you into Google's services. If you're OK with that, sure, but otherwise you might want to use plain Chromium or one of the many other Chromium-based browsers out there.

    The plain version of Chromium isn't quite a complete application, because it leaves gaps to be filled in by Google services. Vivaldi fills in those gaps with its own code and services, and doesn't clutter the browser up with things like crypto wallets or meditation sounds.

    An excellent choice. This is Chromium but with all the spyware bits removed that phone home to Google. Alternatives at this level include Iridium and Brave. Otherwise, I recommend Firefox as the best all-round browser. All three are open source and Firefox is particularly configurable.
