What is ActivSpot?
ActivSpot is an open-source dynamic island-style interface for Hyprland. It adds a top-center contextual panel that changes based on system activity, showing information such as music playback, Discord voice calls, screen recording status, notifications, clock, and weather.
The project also includes a Spotlight-style app launcher with fuzzy search, a cliphist-based clipboard viewer, a VPN status badge, and an animated pet pill. ActivSpot is built with Quickshell and QML, and is designed for Linux setups using the Hyprland Wayland compositor.
