What is NotchDodo?

NotchDodo is a macOS utility that turns the MacBook notch into an interactive dashboard. Hovering the notch opens a panel with 14 tools, and it tucks away again when the pointer leaves.

Tools include a calendar with one-click Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams join, tasks, notes, reminders, a Pomodoro timer and quick timers, a calculator, Apple Music and Spotify controls, a file shelf with AirDrop, screen time, live system stats, a webcam mirror and quick toggles such as dark mode, keep awake and lock screen.

It also tracks Claude Code and Codex CLI usage, showing tokens, estimated cost and the current 5-hour window, read from local log files.

Live activities beside the notch show timers, music, downloads and battery alerts. While another app is using the camera, the panel stays closed on hover so it doesn't cover video calls. Macs without a notch get a simulated one.

No account is required and data stays on the Mac. Sold as a one-time purchase covering 2 Macs. Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later on Apple silicon.
