Anthropic launches Claude connectors for Adobe, Blender, Ableton, and more

Anthropic has introduced new Claude connectors for a bunch of popular creative apps, letting the chatbot access tools, retrieve data, and perform actions across apps like Adobe Creative Cloud,, Affinity, Blender, Ableton, Autodesk Fusion, SketchUp, Resolume, and Splice.

The Adobe connector gives Claude access to more than 50 Creative Cloud tools, including Photoshop and Premiere, for working with images, videos, and designs. Blender support adds a natural language interface for its Python API, with help for scene analysis, debugging, scripting, tool creation, and documentation based assistance. Ableton’s connector lets users ask Claude questions using official Live and Push documentation.

Other integrations cover more specific use cases: Affinity can automate routine production tasks, Autodesk Fusion users can prompt Claude to modify 3D models, SketchUp users can turn design ideas into modeling starting points, Resolume users can control live visuals in real time, and Splice users can search its sample catalog. Anthropic also became a Corporate Patron of the Blender Development Fund, committing at least €240,000 per year to support Blender’s open-source development.

primarily from AI: Anthropic Claude does offer connectors, but they are primarily custom-built via the Model Context Protocol (MCP) API rather than a large library of native, pre-configured ones like Perplexity Computer's 400+ (like Google Drive, etc.)
