- DVDShrink is software to backup DVD discs. You can use this software in conjunction with DVD burning software of your choice, to make a backup copy of any DVD video disc.

- DVD Flick aims to be a simple but at the same time powerful DVD Authoring tool.
As of Oct 2015, the project seems to be abandoned and the installed versions do not function. Last version, 184.108.40.206, released in June 2009, can be still downloaded from SourceForge
